What to Expect in Your First Consulting Coaching Session

Nothing formal to prepare. Here's what actually happens in session one of the programme.

What to Expect in Your First Consulting Coaching Session

People occasionally ask what they need to prepare before a first session, expecting a homework assignment or a formal document. There isn't one. Come with what you're currently thinking about your next move, even if it's still unclear — the first session is where that starts getting structured, not where you're expected to arrive with answers.

It's working time, not a lecture

Each session in the programme is built around your specific situation: your background, your current thinking, and where you actually feel stuck. We work on your offer, your target clients, and your outreach directly, rather than walking through generic material that isn't tailored to you.

What we're establishing in session one specifically

The first session usually focuses on getting a clear, honest picture of where you're starting from — what you've done, what you're drawn to, what's worked or stalled so far — and starting to name the shape of a sellable offer. It's less about finishing anything and more about establishing the direction the following sessions build on.

Each session leaves you with concrete steps for the two weeks before the next one — not just more to think about.

You leave with something to act on

Every session, including the first, ends with specific next steps rather than open-ended reflection. Between sessions, async support by WhatsApp and email is there if you want feedback on something before you send it or act on it.

If you're still deciding whether to book

A short intro call before the programme starts is a lower-stakes way to get a feel for how this works and whether it's the right fit, without committing to the full six sessions first.
